NEW MAMA HOLIDAY GIFT GUIDE
Today I've got the perfect gift guide for the new mama in your life! If you're the new mama, I give you all the permission to send this to your significant other because you deserve it!
This is the perfect hat for when hitting the showers is not really an option. A new mom must have!
I love this moisturizer. Being completely exhausted, my energy goes towards making food/coffee rather than my makeup routine. With this magic bottle, I can moisturize my tired skin and have light coverage. BONUS: it's all natural and you can't say no to that!
Okay, let's be real. Give your new mama all the money on this thing. Coffee money is a prized possession in a mom's wallet.
These leggings are seriously all the rage these days. They are perfect for postpartum holding in the tummy and keeping the thighs tight.
I have been loving cute hair ties and scrunchies. Totally 90's baby, I know. BUT, as a new mom, I definitely have my hair up more than I have it down. This hair tie gives me easy cuteness with a ponytail.
The dreamiest of all dreamy robes. This baby is SO soft and cozy! And, it's perfect for those chilly late night feedings.
I think this water bottle is simply adorable. When I started breastfeeding, I don't think I have ever been more thirsty in my entire lifetime. A water bottle is MUST HAVE for new moms (especially breastfeeding moms).
Literally, buy every bottle on the shelf for your mama. Buy the big size. Buy the travel size. This will probably be one of her most used items as a new mom. No. Joke.
Cozy slippers is a small luxury your favorite mama will truly love and appreciate. She will wear these babies constantly around the house this winter!
This beautiful sweater is a multitude of great qualities for new moms. It's cozy, long in length to cover the unwanted postpartum body, and the side slit makes nursing a breeze.
All mamas are obsessed with their babes. True story. This necklace is such a sweet gift to remind her of the beautiful day they met.
To keep her from looking like a zombie, this magical stick will reduce puffiness, redness, and the extra baggage she now carries under her eyes. Plus, each mama (rookie or veteran) needs to practice self-care.
A few other gift ideas that I think would be perfect are a monthly cleaning service or homemade coupons.
Let's talk cleaning services. How amazing does that sound? I mean baby or no baby, not many people like to clean (or have the time to do so). When I was pregnant with Amelia, I read a book that gave me the best advice for after the baby. The advice was to hire a cleaning service once a month to clean the house. I loved this advice, especially after having Amelia and knowing there may be about 5 minutes out of the entire month that goes towards cleaning. Though the service will just do the basics like vacuuming, it will keep everyone sane. Check your new mama's area for a local cleaning service and surprise her with much-needed help around the house.
I also love the idea of handmade coupons, especially if you're on a budget yourself. I personally as a new mom still on maternity leave would love these coupons. I have made a template for you to use for your gift (not the best, but linked below). These are ideas that I have dreamed about as a gift for myself. Trust me, this may be inexpensive, but it will be her most appreciated gift she will receive!
